Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice supplements the Couplify Privacy Policy and applies to consumer health data as defined under applicable state laws, including Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, and similar laws.
1. Consumer Health Data We May Collect
Depending on how you use the Service and the information you choose to provide, Couplify may collect or process information that could be considered consumer health data, including:
- Information or inferences related to gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual or relationship preferences, or relationship intent.
- Reproductive or sexual health-related information, if voluntarily provided by you in profile content, messages, Community Groups, Question Exchange responses, or support communications.
- Biometric information used for identity verification, including selfie images and facial geometry data.
- Location information where such information is treated as consumer health data under applicable law.
- User-generated content that you voluntarily provide and that may reveal health-related information.
Couplify does not request that users provide medical diagnoses, treatment information, reproductive health information, or other health care information as part of their profile. Users should not provide consumer health data unless they choose to do so and understand that such information may be processed as described in this Notice.
2. Sources of Consumer Health Data
We may collect consumer health data directly from you, through your use of the Service, from your device where you enable permissions, from identity verification providers, and through inferences generated by Service features.
3. Purposes for Collection and Use
We may collect and use consumer health data to:
- Provide and personalize the Service, including matching, compatibility, profile, community, and communication features.
- Verify identity and age, prevent fraud and impersonation, and promote platform safety.
- Operate AI-assisted and automated features, where permitted by law and subject to any required consent or opt-out rights.
- Provide location-relevant features at the city or general-location level.
- Respond to user requests, safety reports, support communications, and legal requests.
- Comply with the law, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect Couplify, users, and others.
4. Categories of Recipients
We may share consumer health data with service providers and processors that support identity verification, cloud hosting, security, analytics, AI-assisted features, customer support, payment processing, communications, legal compliance, and professional services. We require these recipients to process consumer health data only on our behalf and subject to contractual confidentiality, security, deletion, and use restrictions.
We may also disclose consumer health data where required by law, pursuant to valid legal process, in connection with safety or emergency circumstances, or with your affirmative consent where required.
5. Sale of Consumer Health Data
Couplify does not sell consumer health data. If our practices change, we will obtain any authorization or consent required by applicable law before selling consumer health data.
6. Geofencing
Couplify does not use geofencing around health care facilities to identify, track, collect consumer health data from, or send targeted messages or advertisements to users.
7. Consent and Withdrawal
Where required by law, Couplify will obtain your affirmative consent before collecting or sharing consumer health data. You may withdraw consent where required by law, subject to limitations where the information is necessary to provide the Service, maintain safety, verify identity, prevent fraud, comply with law, or enforce our agreements.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, confirm, delete, withdraw consent for, or appeal a denial of a request regarding consumer health data. You may submit requests by contacting privacy@couplify.com. We will verify and respond to requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Updates to This Notice
We may update this Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice from time to time. Material updates will be communicated as required by applicable law.

CALIFORNIA NOTICE AT COLLECTION / CCPA PROCESSING ACTIVITIES
This California Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to California residents to the extent the CCPA applies to Couplify. Retention. Personal information is retained as described in Section 10 of the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable legal, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, chargeback, dispute-resolution, and enforcement exceptions.
California Rights. California residents may submit access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, limitation, and authorized-agent requests as described in Section 12 and Section 13 of the Privacy Policy. Couplify will verify requests using account information or other reasonable verification methods before responding.
