Community Guidelines

Couplify's Community Guidelines are designed to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where members can build healthy relationships. Here's a summary of the key guidelines:

  • Age: Members must be at least 18 years old. Misrepresenting your age is not allowed, and Couplify may request ID verification.
  • Profile Photos: At least one profile photo must clearly show your full face. Photos should be authentic and not overly edited. Prohibited content includes: Heavily distorted or digitally altered photos.
  • Memes, text-only images, or photos of children alone or unclothed.
  • Usernames: Usernames should reflect the name you use in daily life. Prohibited usernames include: Celebrity or fictional character names.
  • Words, symbols, numbers, or punctuation unrelated to a name.
  • Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity: No nude, sexually explicit, or vulgar content. Commercial exchange of sexual content or services is prohibited.
  • Bullying and Abusive Conduct: Harassment, bullying, or targeting individuals or groups is not allowed. This includes emotional abuse, blackmail, and encouraging violence.
  • Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse: Zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes or endangers children, whether real or fictional.
  • Commercial and Promotional Activity: Couplify is not a marketplace; commercial or promotional content is not allowed.
  • Controlled Goods and Substances: No buying, selling, or distributing illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or the misuse of legal substances.
  • Dangerous Organizations and Individuals: Organizations or individuals supporting violent, or terrorist missions are not permitted.
  • Identity-Based Hate: Content promoting hate against marginalized communities based on attributes like race, gender, or religion is prohibited.
  • Inauthentic Profiles: Members must represent themselves accurately, with no impersonation or misrepresentation.

These guidelines aim to protect the well-being of all members and maintain a positive and respectful community.

Misinformation

  • Prohibited: Sharing false or misleading content that can cause harm or impact safety. This includes contradicting reputable health organizations, misinformation about civic processes, and conspiracy theories.

Physical and Sexual Violence

  • Prohibited: Content or behavior threatening or committing acts of physical or sexual violence. This includes stalking, human trafficking, and any form of sexual assault.

Scams and Theft

  • Prohibited: Engaging in scams or theft to defraud members. This includes soliciting financial support under pretenses or faking romantic intentions for monetary gain.

Sexual Harassment

  • Prohibited: Unwanted sexual behaviors, including cyberflashing, sharing intimate images without consent, and unwanted sexual comments or images.

Spam

  • Prohibited: Unwanted or irrelevant bulk content, misleading links, or creating multiple disruptive accounts.

Suicide and Self-Injury Promotion

  • Prohibited: Content promoting or glorifying self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or substance abuse.

Violent and Graphic Content

  • Prohibited: Violent or graphic content, including photos or descriptions of violence, injury, or realistic depictions of blood or weapons.

Platform Manipulation

  • Prohibited: Artificially influencing interactions through automation or scripting.

Safety Reporting

  • Members are encouraged to report content or behavior that violates guidelines. Disagreeing with or disliking a member's content isn't grounds for reporting. False reports, especially against protected attributes, can lead to action against the reporter.

Enforcement Philosophy

  • Couplify takes violations seriously and may: Remove content
  • Issue warnings.
  • Ban members from the platform.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement if necessary.
  • Actions may also be taken for harmful behavior outside the platform if it involves other members.

Profile Guidelines

  • Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old. Misrepresentation of age is prohibited, and ID verification may be required.
  • Profile Photos: Must include at least one clear photo of the member’s face. Photos should not be overly edited, contain unrelated symbols or text, or feature children alone or unclothed.
  • Username: Should reflect a version of the member’s real name and not include offensive language, celebrity or fictional names, symbols, or excessive characters.

Content and Conduct Guidelines

  • Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity: Content must not include nudity, sexual explicitness, or attempts to commercialize sexual services.
  • Bullying and Abusive Conduct: Harassment, bullying, intimidation, unsolicited appearance comments, emotional abuse, and threats of violence are prohibited.
  • Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse: Zero tolerance for any content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers children, including visual depictions and discussions.
  • Commercial and Promotional Activity: The platform is not for unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes.
  • Controlled Goods and Substances: Prohibits the facilitation of buying or selling illegal drugs, controlled goods, or the misuse of legal substances.
  • Dangerous Organizations and Individuals: Individuals or groups with violent or terrorist affiliations are not permitted on the platform.
  • Identity-Based Hate: Content or behavior promoting hate or discrimination against marginalized groups is prohibited.
  • Inauthentic Profiles: Members are expected to represent themselves truthfully; impersonation and misrepresentation are not allowed.
