Jay Whitehurst

Jay has run several businesses, both private and divisions of public companies, and participated in multiple start-up companies in many different capacities (founder, owner, board member, and investor). He retired as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at a public company where he formally served as a presidential division leader for location-based services and text messaging. In his CSO role, Jay led the cultivation of new accounts and entry into new markets for the commercial segment and supported the integrated cross-sell of solutions into the defense industry. Additionally, he led all aspects of the commercial segment mergers and acquisitions globally, from strategic direction through sourcing, negotiation, deal structuring, execution, Board approval, and integration preparation.
 
Jay has demonstrated leadership experience as a strategic and results-oriented executive ranging from pre-revenue start-ups to multi-billion-dollar divisions of large public companies. At Couplify®, Jay will serve as chairman and chief operating officer with responsibility for: author and editor of the business plan and launch plan, incorporation of the company, initial agreements, fundraising, and corporate governance.
